Last Thursday night, I was invited to the Strike Bowling lane ways and had a blast with Ruby Rose, celebrating the launch of her second collection for Milk and Honey designed by Ruby Rose - titled “Vacant dreams and lonely hearts” Winter 11 range (Check out the facebook page here). The collection reflects Ruby's edgy personality and casual style. This is seen through the cool embellished denim, prints, graphic tanks and tees with addition to some grungy biker, leather, military jackets. Rich colours resemble through the collection including burgundy, deep navy, olive and grey.
Influenced by attending blogger parties overseas and the importance of them, Ruby takes this concept to Sydney, holding an intimate launch party with no more than 25 people, specifically for bloggers." I wanted to be the first to bring it to Australia! "she said and so she did!
The night began with everyone bowling, hitting the pins and suddenly Ruby appeared walking towards us from the bowling alley. Upon greeting and welcoming us, models strutted down the bowling lane with her designs.
I met some lovely new friends including Tully, Pauline from What Peter Said and Sarah from Some Kind of Beautiful.
Ruby is an amazing person and a ball of fun! I love her to bits! Thanks for the fun! It should become a tradition.
