The other night, I went to a lovely happy hour for the launch for Sportsgirls collab with Antipodium at The Commons. Perfect indoor/outdoor space with candles and fire place, serving some refreshing Pimm's and dates, nuts, fruits, cheese and bread.
Antipodium, started in 2006 consisting of basics but now has become one of London's must have staples. It was lovely meeting the designer behind it - Geoffrey J Finch. He sported a very unique look with mid-length coat and shorts with sneakers. The collab collection has a tomboyish with a bit of androgynous feel to it. Do let me remind you, he was one of the first designers to use Andrej Pejic, on his runway show which kind of started the whole, (I shall call) ... movement of gender bending in runway shows. The print that I took a picture of below, sporting through the collab is the 90’s ‘Mandana’ which also infuses Antipodium's signature pattern. The collab range will be available at selected stores from Monday 12th of September and online from Monday 5th of September with price ranges from $80 - $150.
