Last night, although rainy, I battled the weather and went to the strand for the launch of the Claire Inc. Pop Up Store at The Corner Shop in The Strand. The owner Belinda Humphris is the blonde next to the girl on the left holding a wine glass. She first began started selling second-hand clothing on ebay to fund her studies in university, eventually developing the standalone online store, Claire Inc. in 2009.
Many of the pieces she offers are from the 1980s and 90s, picking pieces that are contemporary in current trend yet vintage. In her store there are many amazing pieces including Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Versace, Moschino or Lagerfeld (I'm wearing the colourful Largerfeld coat below). Her successful online store now attracts celebrities including the likes of Lily Allen and M.I.A plus of course bloggers like Style Bubble.
There are some really great priced items, but just I don't have the money for it now. To be honest, $400 Chanel vintage runway jackets or $200 Lagerfeld jewelery are really great prices! From what I saw, there were lots of Chanel items, and yep we all died! haha.
The store is only there for 2 weeks, so head into The Corner Shop and snap up these one off pieces that you will find no where else, before they're all gone!
