After the Mulberry 40th Anniversary, Dana, Tania, Xiaohan and I went to the Everguide launch at Lo-Fi Bar. It was hosted by the guys behind Lifelounge and TheVine who created Everguide to be the new digital ultimate events and entertainment guide. The night was filled cool lights, unlimited supplies of booze, pizza, photobooth (funbooth.com.au) with crazy props and Flight Facilities mixing their beats.
Everguide currently features 5000 "things to do" from music, fashion, film, comedy, surf, skate and snow events to food and wine, festivals, club nights, theatre, photography and art exhibitions. It has complete coverage across Sydney and Melbourne with a national roll-out scheduled before the end of the year.
Everguide lets you plan, personalise and then share event ideas and your social life through integration with Facebook, Twitter and FourSquare. It's available as a free iPhone app online at www.eveerguide.com.au and on all web-enabled mobile phones, with application on Android expected before the end of 2011. This free service is made available by founders Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), Schweppes, Nissan and Mastercard.
I have it on my new iPhone and it's easy to use and organise with maps and everything you need to be informed of the upcoming events plus photos from the night before.
The Everguide iPhone app is free and can be downloaded from the iTunes store at
