The last label to show in the Group Show was Flowers For A VagabOnd designed by Toby Maclean who is a gradude of East Sydney TAFE. He grew up on a remote Merino Stud 60km between Walgett and Brewarrina which is what gives his designs such a wild approach.
Returning after showing last year at RAFW, Toby presents ‘Erosive Radiance’ that was supported by Woolmark.
For this collection, he took a minimal "approach playing around with light and movement, concentrating on translucent merino wool, crepe de chin, chiffon and satin layered with nude, cream and beige tones. Pushing proportions with sculptural bonnets and neck pieces tweaked with hidden lighting, has added a four-dimensional edge to the collection,”
